Travel Journal, June 16 :
We drive for 500 meters and then stop. Then another 500 meters and stop again. I can't imagine how you couldn't. Everything here is so damn beautiful. 

Little houses painted in black tar with grass covered roofs, cliffs carved with waterfalls and shadowed by temperamental clouds, sheep and their lambs and their right of way on the road, isolated villages with one road in and the same road out, tunnels, midnight sun, air dried fish, woolen jumpers and the tease of puffins. 
It's a surreal otherworldly place and I'm drunk on its everything. Never do I want to leave... Please don't make me leave.
